What if I don't have the right English level?

If you don't have the required English level for entry into your chosen vocational or higher education course, you can enrol in preparatory English with one of our direct entry ELICOS schools:

  • Ability English
  • Apple Study Group
  • Australian International College of English (AICE)
  • Cass Training International College (CTIC)
  • ELS Universal English College (UEC)
  • English Language School in Sydney (ELSIS)
  • GEOS Sydney
  • Greenwich College
  • International House Sydney (IH)
  • Kaplan International Colleges

  • Navitas English
  • St George and Sutherland Community College (SGSCC)
  • Sydney College of English (SCE)
  • Sydney English Language Centre (SELC)

We recommend that for every 0.5 IELTS you need to improve by, that you should enrol in approximately 10-12 weeks of English. You should check with the English college of your choice to get a assessment of recommended English study length.

The direct entry status of these English colleges means that they have been approved by Raffles College to recommend their graduating students into our programs based on their internal English assessment. If you are not ready to commence your main course after your English study, you may be required to undertake extra English study and defer your main course to a future intake.

For additional information, please see our FAQs.

Graphic Design student, Michael Nguyen, says "The opportunity to study at Raffles has allowed me to pursue a career that I'm very passionate about. The thing I like about Raffles is that it is a college dedicated to design. I'm with design students studying, thinking and living design."
