Subject Description

The purpose of this module is to:

  1. Offer students an opportunity to develop practical, marketable experience in their field that integrates practice with theory.

  2. Improve the working relationship between the college and the industry in which mutually beneficial partnerships develop.

  3. Enable faculty members to keep up with the changing job market thereby promoting the updating of curricula to keep coursework consistent with industry requirements.

 

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this subject, learners will be able to:

1. Complete successfully a working experience with a company within the Interior Design industry

2. Achieve objectives set for the Internship

3. Create and maintain a logbook/reflective journal in a workplace environment
