Subject Description

This subject will introduce games and gameplay programming concepts for those

who want to be game artists and designers. These students will learn to analyse games, and gameplay, as well as examine genres and trends in game development.

They will work singly and in small groups to develop game ideas, compare and contrast them with published games and then create documentation for a small prototype game.

  2. Solve minor IT issues

  3. Apply basic programming concepts to solve problems within an environment

  4. Articulate and discuss game specific technical concepts
