Subject Description

The purpose of this module is to:

Extend student knowledge of design tools and their commands and respective editing commands used in CAD for designing, drawing and drafting interior design spaces and projects

 

Learning outcomes

1. Document working process through journal and portfolio of drawings and drafting projects

2. Apply the working tools, graphic primitives and editing commands of current CAD software to drawing and drafting projects

3. Use the principle function of CAD software commands to draw, develop and produce 2D and 3D drawings

4. Explore and experiment with rendering tools for the production of a personalised quality drawing

5. Develop a personal drawing style
