Subject Description

The purpose of this module is to:

Introduce students to designing exhibition spaces and project scope, including planning, costing, sourcing, negotiating, and design work undertaken in designated space.

 

Learning outcomes

1. Prepare an exhibition brief and define work scope and project

2. Research and evaluate information relevant to brief requirements

3. Design space allocation using knowledge of ergonomics, circulation patterns and architectural details

4. Produce required design documents and drawings, model of the space, materials and colour selection to clearly communicate design proposal

5. Present design proposal for approval and critique
