Our graduates also have a fabulous opportunity to showcase their work at Rosemount Fashion Week (RAFW show) to fashion’s most respected and renowned critics from both Australia and abroad, together with a panel of industry experts,.

Fashion Design
Our Bachelor of Design majoring in Fashion Design will introduce you to both high fashion (haute couture) as well as ready-to-wear fashion, using both the computer as well as traditional manual skills.
Career opportunities include designer, production coordinator, pattern maker, fashion illustrator, stylist and more.

Portfolio requirements
As well as the Higher School Certificate, your portfolio is your passport into Fashion at Raffles. Your entry portfolio should be a creative collection and you should compile it in order to demonstrate primarily your creativity, but also your ability to communicate and conceptualise more abstract design ideas. It is designed to support your Raffles application.

Fashion Marketing
Our Bachelor of Design majoring in Fashion Marketing teaches you how to market fashion, bringing the world’s fashion from the designer’s studio to the wholesale showroom and to the retail outlets.
Career opportunities include fashion merchandiser, marketer, buyer or agent, stylist, fashion journalist, brand manager, visual merchandiser, publishing and more.

Internships & Industry Partners
Raffles’ fashion department works with industry partners who help train our graduands regularly by offering them industry placement in some of Australia’s top fashion houses, but also some top international brands such as Prada.
