About Project

After a successful show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in April, Raffles College of Design and Commerce has dazzled at China Graduate Fashion Week (CGFW, 15th – 20th May) in Beijing.
Held each year, CGFW is an elaborate undertaking and preview of collections from some of the hottest young design talents in the Asia-Pacific region. Parramatta-based Raffles College of Design and Commerce was the first official international university partner of CGFW; and has been part of the annual event since last year. “Raffles is honoured to be the only Australian college to secure a placement within this prestigious event,” said Nicholas Comino, Program Director of Fashion Design. “We were thrilled to see our graduates showcased alongside emerging design stars from Chinese fashion colleges.”
The Raffles CGFW show celebrated the 12 most promising graduates from the Raffles Sydney campus and was held on Monday 18th May. All designers presented S/S 2016 collections in a group-show format.
