Multimedia
Multimedia courses offer a great foundation if you're interested in the more technical aspects of design. You’ll graduate with a VETAB Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma under the Australian Qualifications Framework, all nationally recognised qualifications which can be a great stepping-stone to a degree.  In an area where change is rapid, this course takes a three-stage approach. First it concentrates on those things like aesthetics and useability that are independent of technology. The aim is to equip students with skills that can be used regardless of the technology. The second stage is to make sure graduates have sufficient skills for entry level jobs in the contemporary workplace. In the final stage of the course students are given experience in project management and marketing of more complex multimedia design projects thus providing skills for supervisory level jobs.
