Art and Design Certificates

So you want to study design, but not sure where to start? Or perhaps you want to do a shorter program or you're not able to do a bachelor of master degree at this time...

Certificate programs in Art and Design run for either 1 or 2 semesters. These are suitable for students who have no experience in design and would like to experiment with a design education. They are also suitable for students interested in entering our design bachelor degrees but who do not yet meet the entry requirements (portfolio and/or academic).

Multimedia

If you want some technical skills or you're thinking about doing a design degree but aren't yet sure, multimedia is a good choice.

Vocational programs in multimedia (Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma) cover the design and creation of:

  • web pages and sites
  • interactive multimedia
  • 3D
  • video
  • animation
  • games design

Business Management

A vocational business management course offers a dynamic mix of theory and practice and is a great way to learn the basics. These courses are suitable for students who are not yet ready to start our Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Short Courses

During school holidays, the school offers short targeted courses for specific groups interested in a design experience. Updates are released prior to course starts.

A career as a film director is Andrew Marshall's ambition. He says "I was drawn to the Degree where I could major in moving image because it's a broad program and covers all aspects of film making. The course is very hands on, challenging and lots of fun. We get involved with camera shoots, research what's been done before and apply it to what we're doing. It's very interesting and rewarding. It's fantastic being part of an enthusiastic group of students and having inspiring lecturers. They are not afraid to challenge you – you get great feedback with constructive and positive criticism."
