STUDYING AT RAFFLES
INFORMATION FOR...

| Associate Colleges |
|
As part of the Raffles Education Corporation, there is an exciting opportunity to study part of your degree at another location. A big advantage in the global world of design influenced and enhanced by local cultures and ideas. Raffles College of Design and Commerce offers degree courses at several Associate College sites: At each site, a selected range of Raffles College degree programs is available. Students have been studying Raffles College programs at these associate college sites since 2005. The programs have been popular and enrolments are increasing steadily. In 2008, there were approximately 1000 students enrolled in a RCDC degree program, with almost 10% of these students electing to study at more than one campus. This inter-campus flexibility is one of the unique features of the colleges in the Raffles Education Corporation. More sites are gradually being added every year. |

Michelle Johnson, Mishka Boutique New Zealand says: “Raffles provided me the option to study fashion marketing in an open learning environment. The course was designed to broaden ideas about the industry and also give an opportunity to relay what was learnt on a practical level. One of the significant advantages of the course was being taught by industry professionals who gave invaluable insight into the fashion world and business environment. The highlight of the course was interacting with various design students and going on a variety of excursions that defined my career direction and laid the groundwork in achieving success in the industry. Through Raffles Program Director, Robert De Giovanni I was able to secure industry work experience at Prada Australia in their PR & Advertising team which later developed into a coordinator role following my degree completion. This year I am in the process of launching a premier online fashion boutique in New Zealand stocking luxury Australian and International labels – something I never thought possible without the support and knowledge learned at Raffles and the industry contacts passed on by Robert.”
